Therapy for Individuals
Many people in modern society are having difficulty mapping their life’s journey. They may feel ungrounded or unsure why they are on their current path. They may feel out of control with their lives going by too quickly or unsafely. Some are “stuck in the muck” – unable to move forward due to fear, sadness, or anger. My intention is to help clients find their way and to discover the balance between being grounded and safe, and spreading their wings to take risks. Finding balance enhances positive growth, and alleviates many of the stressful symptoms that result from living in today’s society.
My clients are working on self actualization and personal growth within the context of human relationships. I tailor therapy to the individual using their own stories, experiences, and dreams to help them discover the next step to take. I help people identify inconsistencies between what they are doing today and what they would like to achieve in the future. I also teach cognitive behavioral techniques to help people become “un-stuck.”
